I have established By The Web based on my over 20 years of experience as a Web/Multimedia Designer in the Communications industry. As a proud Métis woman and business owner from the Northwest Territories, I advocate in making the web accessible to everyone. I have obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Web Authoring certificate and received Innovation and Client Service awards for my dedication and quality of work. During this time, I have achieved and maintained a professional level of training and certification in various web and graphics services.

My professional priority is to develop websites using responsive design, an user-centric framework and accessible code so content is equitably accessible and useable for web users. By design, I am passionate about accessible web development and view this endeavor as an enjoyment.

I believe that my professional life is positively impacted by my personal life. Personally, I enjoy being in the embrace of nature and love the adventures it affords. I challenge myself to hike numerous peaks and valleys of the North, the Rockies, the Rain Forest and the Highlands. Appreciating that nature is a reflection of ourselves and our journey, I dedicate myself to protecting its sacred spaces. I bring this positivity to my profession.
